Pink House got their start as a band when they decided to play a special music at AWANA camp in July 2006. When asked what bands have inspired the members and music of Pink House, the boys named bands such as the Newsboys, Audio Adrenaline, Relient K, Todd Proctor, and All American Rejects. The three members of Pink House describe their band as an awesome local band with an interesting mix of styles. They each have something unique that they bring into the band, and when they work together, Pink House really has a great time. Watch for upcoming concerts and appearances... |
Timothy, the drummer for Pink House, is 14 years old. He got his first drum set when he was 4 1/2, but he has been playing pretty much all his life. Some of Timothy’s interests outside of music include baseball, Legos, the movie “Jaws,” and reading. When asked to describe Timothy, his fellow band members said he is strange, picky, and very quiet. Timothy’s favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:31b… “If God is for us, who can be against us?” He is homeschooled, and the subject he loves most is spelling. He enjoys peanut brittle ice cream, Zero bars, and playing computer games. |
At 14, Luke has been playing the guitar for 3 years; he is also learning to play the bass guitar. Besides music, Luke enjoys skateboarding, Napoleon Dynamite, chocolate ice cream, staring at people, and stuffing marshmallows up his nose. He has some secret talents that are so secret even he doesn’t know them. Luke currently attends school at Dayton Christian. His favorite Bible verse is John 3:16… “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Luke is described by the other members of Pink House as a strange skate punk who loves video games and pretends to be shy. |
Taylor - vocalist for Pink House - is 12 years old, and besides singing, he has been playing the guitar for about 4 1/2 years. In addition to his musical interests, Taylor enjoys eating, sports, Star Wars, and developing his secret talents of sketching and skateboarding. Taylor's favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 12:13 - "An evil man is trapped by his sinful talk, but a righteous man escapes trouble." The other members of Pink House describe Taylor as "just plain crazy and weird" and obsessed with skateboarding and basketball. Taylor is homeschooled; he especially enjoys literature. |
